Charity

As a school, we participate in a number of events in order to raise money for different causes. In doing this, we hope our children gain an awareness of the needs of different members of the community, people in different parts of the country and people from around the world.

We support large national and international charities such as Comic Relief and Children In Need. We also support local charities such as Charles Thompson Mission, Wirral Food Bank and Claire House.

Each year we support Children In Need. We follow the theme set by the C.I.N organisers for each year and ensure we raise lots of money. For example, in previous years we have: dressed in the spottiest outfit possible, dressed in an outfit that represents our future career ambitions and also dressed as our heroes!

We raise funds for Claire House by asking the audience at our Christmas productions to donate to our collection buckets.

We also support Comic Relief and Sport Relief. In previous years, this has involved undertaking ‘Beat the Goalie’ competitions, sponsored fitness circuits, joke competitions and even a staff ‘Pie Face’ challenge.

We also support Charles Thompson Mission. Charles Thompson’s Mission is an independent charity specialising in providing food, clothing, care and support to the poor and homeless of Wirral. Our harvest collection is given to the mission each year.

In addition to this, we make regular donations to the Wirral Food Bank to help local families in poverty.

Thank you very much for all your support, which is always fantastic and very much appreciated.
